would like to congratulate all participants who qualified for the Ford Ironman World Championships in Hawaii and the Ford Ironman 70.3 Championships in Clearwater, Florida. Since all slot winners must be present at the awards ceremony, there is always a slight variation in the slots originally allocated to each age group and the slots actually awarded. WTC provides each race with rules and a formula as to how to "roll down" the unclaimed slots to the next deserving age group.
