"Not Just Another Day at the Beach"

The Make-A-Wish Triathlon at Sea Colony is an exciting event for up to 1,000 athletes. Hosted in Bethany Beach, Del., the event will celebrate its 25th Anniversary for the 2008 race. The Make-A-Wish Triathlon is also the Delaware state qualifier for the Best of the US Triathlon.

Newly featured in the 2008 race will be a pre-race carbo dinner and a sports expo. The ocean swim, scenic bike and run courses and phenomenal post-race picnic make this race a favorite among both seasoned triathletes and weekend warriors. This year also features a new 41K bike course. Money raised from the event will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic. The Make-A-Wish Foundation fulfills the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
