"Iron Girl Columbia is one of the best races I've done all season and I'm really looking forward to doing more TriColumbia races next year. It's so nice to meet people who truly care about the sport of Triathlon and do so much to make each race a great experience. I think I've told everyone I've talked to about how beautiful it was out there, and how much fun the course was to race on. Also, just the atmosphere and support of the race was so encouraging."
~ Kristen Peterson, Professional Triathlete
"The Iron Girl Columbia is one of the best races around. It's an all-women's race, which means plenty of smiles and inspiring stories. The participants range from professional triathletes, to first timers, to cancer survivors. The race also has great swag. From the v-neck race shirts, to the post-race quinoa, to the glass trophies, there isn't a better race than this one."
~ Angel Stone, Personal Trainer
"I decided to do Iron Girl with a friend to try something new and help cross train in a different way for my distance races that I compete in. I also wanted to show my kids who swim year round, that I too, could learn to swim and do it well. Well, I did it! And it was SO MUCH FUN! It has helped me run my distances better and stronger. I have found a new love in swimming and it has taught my daughters and son that you can do anything, at any age if you dream and set your mind to it. I just want to say thank you for the directors and people who make this race happen. Out of every half marathon, marathon, 5K, or 10K I have ever raced, this Triathlon was "THE BEST" run event I have ever seen. Plenty of help, water, food, bathrooms, workers, directions posted and on and on. And I have to say it ranks as the event I have enjoyed the most so far! You will see me again next for sure!
Thank you.
