This email contains critical and time sensitive information and has been sent to verify information in our database about you. In additon you will find some helpful race information.
Please read this all the way to the end and take appropriate action
Be sure to thoroughly verify all the personal information below. If anything is not correct, it will need to be changed by Friday, May 28th. After this date, no changes can be made.
Listed in your Tricolumbia.org profile is your registration information for the 2010 EagleMan Ironman Triathlon. Remember that the race will follow USAT age-up rules, therefore your age on race day is what your age will be as of December 31, 2010.
Please also remember that the technical shirts given to each participant will be gender specific and true to size, so be sure your profile below is accurate. Whatever shirt size is in your profile as of May 28th, is what you will receive (you will not be permitted to switch your shirt at packet pickup).
If all the information is correct, you do NOT need to respond to this email. If any of the information is incorrect, you are able to change all but your name and your USAT number.

CTA will not have printed course maps at packet pickup. If you use the link below, you will be able to find the course maps and you may print them yourself.
LODGING AND TRAVEL INFORMATION:
GETTING AROUND CAMBRIDGE:
Consider google mapping Somerset Ave, Cambridge MD 21613. There is a great view of Hambrooks Bay, Great Marsh Park and the surrounding streets.
RACE PACKET PICK UP:
WHEN: Fri, June 11, 2-7pm, and Saturday, June 12, 10:00-7:00 pm
PLEASE NOTE: There is NO Sunday Packet Pick-up. All pre-registered entrants are expected to attend packet pick up Friday or Saturday in person. This is due to insurance liability requirements defined by the race insurance provider
WHERE: Sailwinds Park, 200 Byrn Street in Cambridge, MD. 21613
WHAT TO BRING: All participants MUST show a photo ID, and all USAT annual members must show their membership card.
No Exceptions. No proof of ID then No packets, No race.
A unique wristband will be affixed at this time, which must remain on through the end of the race.
Special Notice to athletes in regard to USAT CARDS FOR REGISTRATION
Athletes MUST bring proof of annual membership or purchase a one-day permit. Athletes who do not bring/show proof of membership must purchase a one-day license OR will not be allowed to race. Athletes who forget their membership cards will have four options below:
• Go” back” and get your card.
• Print off a temporary membership card from the
USAT web site, ( www.usatriathlon.org ). Showing
it on your iPhone or BlackBerry is acceptable
also. Race staff members cannot pull up your
USAT information or allow you use of computers.
Do not ask them to do so.
• Purchase a $10.00 one-day license, payable only by
cash or check; no credit card purchase is permitted.
• Renew your annual membership online and bring
proof of renewal.
Please remember to pack your USAT membership card. Don’t leave home without it.
Please note that all CTA events have the one day option as a part of the race entry fee structure should you select that form of payment.
EAGLEMAN EXPO AT PACKET PICK-UP:
Friday June 11, 2-7pm, Saturday, June 12, 10-7pm.
MANDATORY BIKE RACKING:
Saturday, June 12, Great Marsh Park. 2 pm - 8 pm.
No Exceptions. Bikes Only. You will be allowed into the transition area on race morning to set up the rest of your transition, but will NOT be allowed to remove your bike from the transition area.
The race will NOT be performing bike inspections. We recommend that you do this on your own prior to the race.
NEW IRONMAN U.S. RULE AMENDMENTS FOR 2011 SEASON:
Information for next year’s 2011 EagleMan Ironman 70.3 - effective September 1, 2010, Ironman has announced modifications to several rules and regulations relating to the swim at U.S. races. The amendments were made to further standardize rules in the Ironman/70.3 Series and ensure a fair playing field at events around the globe.
