May 23, 2010 5:40 amYes, welcome to a very rainy May 23rd in Colulmbia, Maryland. Today's waves set to start at 6:45 am have been delayed fifteen minutes due to the weather. Currently Columbia Triathlon Founder Robert Vigorito is welcoming all to a couple of rites of spring - the weather and the triathlon - over the announcement system. Events will start at 7 am sharp, a fifteen minute delay from scheduled time. Today marks the 29th running of the Columbia Triathlon, now in its 27th year. Trathlon and running coach Nick Tuttle is our emcee-ing today's race.
