Jun 12, 2011 6:08 amThis field is packed with a stellar list of pros so competition is going to be fierce! Returning this year are the Kiwi Champions from last year. - Terenzo Bozzone and Sam Warriner. Warriner will be looking to beat out World Ironman Champion Mirinda Carfrae. After having heart surgery, Warriner narrowly won Ironman New Zealand last March, finishing just 26 seconds in front of Carfrae. Warriner will have to beat out Amanda Stevens, 2010 Ironman 70.3 US Pro Champion. Tyler Stewart should give the women a challenge on the bike course as she broke the world record last month at Ironman Texas for the fastest fiche split. Other contenders include Desiree Ficker, Tenille Hoogland, and Elly Franks.
